I can highly recommend York if you have never visited. Apart from the things we did there is the Railway Museum for train buffs, York Museum, and the Jorvik Viking Museum. Plenty to keep you going for a few days, and of course no visit to York would be complete without a visit to Bettys Tea Rooms - a real old fashioned, proper afternoon tea experience!
While there I took a few snaps, as I do. My friend is a professional photographer and take some really good shots, not me though, I just snap away merrily, taking some half reasonable pictures for posterity. Anyway, on account of never taking a straight shot I have decided to deploy a new way of taking photos - all lopsided on purpose.
Let's see what you think! I have included a few of my 'new shots' and I hope you enjoy them!
We all love our cruising and visiting foreign shores is always exciting, especially if it is a new port of call, but sometimes it is just as good to visit somewhere a little closer to home. It reminds us that England too has some wonderful places to visit on our own doorstep.
