How many things can you do with a banana.... otherwise known as my epic online disaster!

And just to be clear, I am not reverting back to tales of my trip to Amsterdam recently! Cruisers, I need your help, quite frankly I am in what you might call "Dire Straits".
Being a busy person I always do my supermarket shop online, it's just fab. I curl up on the sofa with my laptop and a coffee and hey presto a couple of days later the shopping is delivered to my door. Simples!
Now we have all done the 'carrot' - you think you have ordered a bag of them but a lone one arrives, and we have all done the accidently ordering bags of fruit/veg when you think you have ordered singles. I can cope with this. What ever the vegetable I can always make it into soup, portion it up and freeze it. However, picture my face on Friday when I realised that Tesco had delivered 54 bananas!!! Yes, 54 of the blooming things! Well I can't make banana soup can I!

I make a mean banana loaf and I am quite happy to have them sliced on my cereal but what on earth am I going to do with the rest? Cast your minds back cruisers to fabulous recipes involving bananas served up on cruise ships, I need inspiration here, and sharpish! Beyond Banoffee Pie I am stuck, although we shall obviously be having Banana Splits after Sunday Lunch today.
The good news is folks that you can book your cruises online with www.cruise.co.uk with complete confidence that you will only be booking one at a time!
For more information on cruising, or to share recipes or even to order some bananas from me please call me on 0800 408 6084 :)
